FISCAL NOTE
Senate Bill 47 as introduced and as amended and reported by the Committee on Governmental Affairs would increase receipts to the Alabama Board of Social Work Examiners, by an undetermined amount dependent upon the fee set by the Board, to register a supervisor; and to codify previous practices of the Board to charge and collect fees established by the Board by Administrative Rule. Based on the estimated number of individuals in fiscal years 2017 and 2018 that made a request to: (1) verify a current license; (2) reactivate an inactive license or reinstate a lapsed license; or (3) apply to act as a continuing education provider, the estimated increase in receipts to the Board is $16,000 annually.
