FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 75 as introduced would increase the obligations of the Alabama Police Officers Standards and Training Commission (APOSTC) by an estimated $1.95 million dollars ($650,000 annually) over a 3-year period to provide all incumbent law enforcement officers crisis intervention training as a continuing education requirement.

This bill could also increase the financial obligations of the various law enforcement agencies for travel expenses and backfilling positions of those incumbent law enforcement officers required to receive this training in accordance with the provisions of this bill.
