FISCAL NOTE
Senate Bill 65 as introduced provides an alternative procedure for the dissolution of any public park and recreation board organized in a county to allow all funds, assets, real property, liabilities and employees of the board to be transferred to the municipality where the board is located instead of to the county. This could increase or decrease the obligations of a municipality by an undetermined amount dependent upon the revenues generated and the costs absorbed or incurred by the municipality to operate and maintain the public parks.
