FISCAL NOTE
Senate Bill 76 as introduced and as amended and reported by the Committee on Fiscal Responsibility and Economic Development could increase the administrative obligations of state agencies and county or municipal governing bodies responsible for administering permits for the installation of small wireless facilities on public utility infrastructure (right-of-way). Any increase in obligations would be offset by permit fees, ranging from $250 to $1,000 depending on the type of installment, and the rate charged for access to right-of-ways, not to exceed $170, pursuant to the provisions of this bill.
