FISCAL NOTE

Senate Bill 124 as introduced could increase the obligations of the Board of Medical Examiners, to issue temporary certificates of the qualifications for physicians, and Medical Licensure Commission, to issue temporary licenses to physicians by an undetermined amount dependent on the number of physician and physician assistant applicants seeking licensure under the provisions of this act. Assuming that the Board and Commission will collect a fee to issue the temporary certificates and licenses, this Board and Commission's increased obligations could be offset, wholly or partly, by an undetermined amount dependent upon the amount of the temporary certificates and temporary licenses fees collected by the Board and Commission.
