FISCAL NOTE
Senate Bill 21 as introduced statutorily authorizes the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners to set fees by rule. This would allow the board to continue charging a license verification fee and a Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE) provider/course approval application fee while also allowing the board to establish fees for other services. The board receives approximately $40,000 to $60,000 in annual collections to the Board of Chiropractic Examiners Fund in the State Treasury from the license verification fee and the CCE provider/course approval fee collectively. Any additional fees for other services established by the board pursuant to this bill would increase collections to the Board of Chiropractic Examiners Fund by an undetermined amount dependent upon the rate adopted by the board and the frequency the fee is paid.
