FISCAL NOTE

House Bill 92 as introduced provides for the appointment of three additional special members of the Board of Pardons and Paroles serving a single term for the period July 1, 2021 through July 1, 2023. This bill also provides that current board members and special board members may sit in joint 3-member panels to conduct hearings and make determinations concerning pardons, paroles, restoration of civil and political rights, remission of fines and forfeitures, and revocations. Based on information from the Board of Pardons and Paroles, this bill would increase the obligations of the board by the following estimated amounts for the following fiscal years:
